Subscription
You can subscribe to Kleta online through our website. Simply choose the bike, plan duration, and Kleta Service that best suits you, make the payment, and you're done! Once you've subscribed, you need to schedule an appointment to pick up your bike at one of our stores or Kleta Points. Our team will be happy to assist you!
Your subscription to Kleta doesn't become effective until the day you pick up your bike, even if you've already made the payment through our website. You can schedule your Kleta pickup appointment during the subscription or purchase process.
Please note that if you don't show up for your Kleta pickup appointment, your subscription will start 7 days after the appointment date.
Kleta Service is the set of services you can hire so you don't have to worry while you enjoy your Kleta. All our Kleta subscription plans include an anti-theft guarantee, unlimited repairs and maintenance, which is our Kleta Essential Service. You also have the option to hire additional services and upgrade your current services by changing your Kleta Service plan from "Essential" to ”Don’t worry” or "Total".
In addition to your own bike equipped with all the locks and lights, your Kleta subscription includes the Kleta Essential Service, which is our plan for unlimited repairs and maintenance, as well as an anti-theft guarantee. You can always add additional services such as home repairs, third-party insurance and accident coverage. Learn how works our anti-theft guarantee here.
No, at Kleta we want to make it easy and be flexible for our users, so you don't have to pay any kind of deposit or bond when you subscribe.
If you're not used to moving around by bike and would like to try Kleta, we recommend subscribing to a 3-month plan.
During the first 3 months, you'll really be able to change your habit of moving around by bike and start enjoying all its benefits. Before the end of the plan, you can switch to a 12-month plan.
If you've already used a bike as a form of transportation before and would still like to try a Kleta before committing, we suggest the following: subscribe to our 12-month plan and decide whether to continue or cancel before the end of the first month. If you decide to cancel, we'll only charge you for the month you were on Kleta at the Monthly Plan price, but if you decide to continue, it will count as your 12-month plan.
We're currently present in Barcelona and Valencia, but don't worry if you live in another city in Spain because many more are coming soon! Tell us which city you're in, and you can be one of the first to find out when we arrive to that city :)
With Kleta, your bike is for your own use, so you can take it wherever you want. The anti-theft guarantee applies throughout Spain.
If you don't live in the city, all you need to check is the coverage area of our home repair and maintenance service according to your city, so if you have an issue, you'll need to park your Kleta in the city so our meKanics can come and solve it. Alternatively, you can check the location of our Kleta Points and schedule an appointment if you need an express repair. Find out about the coverage area here.
